The battle of support and optimization

Every project has a timeframe and a budget. To reach our goals within these constraints we have to make compromises while striving for perfection. It is a battle between support and optimization and it is a battle best discussed with your client.

We can not optimize for every single device but we can optimize for the users wanting to interact with the product. Where do you make a cut in features or support? Do you optimize instead?
